I sent in for the Kraft rebate, where you buy 25.00 worth of Kraft products, and the form prints out at the register, for a 20.00 rebate, and a 5.00 catalina good on your next purchase. Today I got a post card in the mail that said I didn't qualify for the rebate because you have to buy 20 kraft products to get the rebate. Well I bought 9 products, at 2.99 each, which equal 26.91.The form said buy 25.00 worth, not 20 products. The number on the post card that said if you have questions, call this # is a number that has been disconected. I called a different # that I found in the website, and the lady said someone would call me back. I told her, that the rebate slip and the 5.00 catalina wouldn't have printed out if I didn't purchase qualifying items. Any one else get the same problem?

Haven't heard anything yet, but have been watching for anything from them. Just looked at my copy of rebate form and states 25.00 must be purchased also. Hopefully all goes thru well.

Havent heard anything yet. They are usually good about rebates, so lets hope it is their mistake.

OT, Tammy- where did you shop to get that humongous reciept?

THAT was the rebate that the register printed out the rebate form AFTER you purchased the qualifying products!!! How can they say you didn't purchase the right products then? Very strange....

Sounds like they are referring to a different rebate (10 cookies/crackers, 5 drinks, 5 easy mac cups = 20 items).

Got a postcard today "submission did not include proof of purchase of at least 20 valid Kraft products" in the upper corner it states offer #511-1, this is the offer that was in the booklet (buy 10 cookies/ crackers, 5 drinks, 5 easy mac cups)

I specifically bought these items in one run for that rebate, circled every item.
Nowhere on the rebate did it state the need for UPC's to be submitted.

Tried to call number "not in service" ARGH!

Several ladies on the MNGDA yahoo group have also reported getting the same postcard. If anyone finds more info please post!

oh yeah.. and I goofed and didn't make a copy, so I can't resubmit it..

I got the 7.5 foot long receipt at Market place in Cokato MN. They had a huge bunker full of lunchmeat. Their were hundreds of packs and a sign said this lunchmeat 1.00 a pack. their was also a huge basket of 1.00 off coupons to use with the lunchmeat, to make it free. I took 100 packs, and 100 coupons, and they scanned each pack of meat, and each coupon too, so it turned out that long. The lunchmeat was going to expire in 3 days, so they wanted to give it away, instead of throwing it out. I am giving it away to needy familys.

I got the same postcard today, I am assuming it is from the offer in the booklet, because of the #511-1. Also the form does not say to send in the UPCS, so WTH??? The phone number did not work either.

Kraft seems shady now to me. What major corporation would disconnect a line that they told people to call. I sent out for the Catalina rebate too but I haven't heard ne thing yet.

I guess I am starting to think not doing this rebate was a good thing. I only did the Fuel for School one, which I just sent off a few weeks ago. This is completely bad customer service on their end.

I found this number on the Kraft website that we sent for the booklets at. 1-800-323-0768. I called an spoke to a very nice lady and she looked up all the info and spoke to her supervisor and they read the rebate and agreed that it did not require proof of pruchases. So she gave me a case number and took all my infor and told I should hear back from them but if I didn't hear in a week to call and referance that case number. I told her alot of people on line had gotten this card.

I just got my card in the mail too. I am fuming. Of course the number on the card is a non-working number. The card I got the rejection letter was actuall for the 20 items rebate that is in the nabisco booklet. I only know that because I made copies of all my rebates and that is the offer number-- 511-1. THe offer number for the Cub cataline rebate is 511-5, which I did as well, but haven't heard back.

I was on the phone for a long time. At first the agent was like, there is nothing I can do because you didn't meet the requirements of sending the upcs. BUT THERE WASN'T A REQUIREMENT FOR THAT!!!! ARGH!

She finally put me on hold and talked with a supervisor and was going to submit my info like the past poster did. Geez.

I haven't gotten a post card yet but now I will be looking for one. This makes me so angry. I bought exactly $20 worth of stuff and if they say 20 products, ugh !!!!

Did some sleuthing online.. there is a website to track your rebate for both offers (the booklet and the catalina SuperValu/Cub offer).

My Cub offer rebate (511-5) was accepted and a check is on the way. I sent only receipt and the slip that printed with the catalina.

My other rebate (511-1) says :
There was a problem with your submission
A check for $20.00 was mailed to you. A noncompliance notice has been mailed to you with details and further instructions.

Submission did not include proof of purchase of at least 20 valid Kraft products

hmm, it says a check was sent 9/10
BUT it also says a non compliance card was sent 9/14

HUH???!!!!
