| What I found out about internet coupons at Cub
their requirement for accepting an internet coupon is the following. I am not joking, this is what supervalu corp told me today. The coupon must have a barcode, an expiration date and say manufacture coupon on the top. That seems simple enough. Cub Foods doesn't have a coupon policy as I asked for one. If you ever need to call supervalue customer service the number is 1-877-932-7946.

One of the Cub Foods in Mankato emphasizes that if you print the ones that have the border on it-- make sure you don't cut off that border, or you can't use it there.

Too bad every Cub doesn't go by the corperate policy. I have had valid coupons turned down because they didn't have a "little scissors on them". That is right; one cashier was trained to only accept coupons with a scissor icon on them. Lame.

A cashier at the Cub in Monticello told me it has to have a website printed on the coupon. Just to make my life easier, I've started highlighting the site as I always seem to get her.

WOW! I guess I'm lucky as my Cub it seems has very little rules except do whatever it takes to make the customer happy.
