They still should not have done this - because technically, they are committing the fraud. They knowing accepted a coupon for an item they do not carry.

Don't get me wrong, they could give you a $10 credit and let you have the other product, as a goodwill gesture. But they should have told you to keep the coupons, because they can not submit them to the manufacturer if they do not carry that product in their inventory. That would be where they have the fraud problem.

I actually had a manager do this once - he gave me the discount on another brand of spaghetti sauce and he correctly told the cashier - "No, we can't keep the coupon, because we can't send it in to the manufacturer for redemption so give it back to the customer"

Elk River Cub had them today. I only had 6 q's so there are plenty left for someone else. They are located in an endcap of the freezer section.

Does anyone know what their normal price is? I noticed on the unilever coupon, it says $1.50 on any Breyers Ice cream, but wasn't sure if those are valid on the pints.
