Rebate Money Maker at Cub??

My Cub flyer had a coupon for 5.00 off your grocery order when your purchase 10 Kellogg's items. With the coupons from the Fuel for School flyer and the 10.00 rebate it think this might be a good money maker!!

mnpersons has posted more than 5 good deals
Not a money maker for me, but here is how I spun this one. I got 2 boxes Honeycomb, 2 boxes Apple Jacks, 2 boxes blueberry muffin Mini Wheats, 2 boxes cinnamon Mini Wheats, 2-boxes Froot Loops. Used 5 of the $1 off 2 coupons from the 8/3 sunday papers. Total after coupons and the CUB $5 off was $15, got home removed the UPCs and mailed in the $10 rebate. I think $5 for 10 boxes of cereal is pretty fair deal. I now have 75 boxes of cereal in my stash.

I am not allowed to get ANY more cereal as we have 58 boxes. My dh has adamantly put his foot down on that. I asked him - what if it's free or I get paid for it? That is okay - but since none of this is free or moneymaker - I'm out.

But there are other things besides cereal that I can get the Kellogg's rebate for - thank goodness!

Bought 10 yogo rollers. 1.80 x 10 = $18.00 - $5 cpn - $1 cpns (x10) = $3.80 + tax

Pert is 2/$5 at cub. Used SS Pert cpns and bought some school supplies.

I bought 6 Yogo @ 1.80 and used 6 1/1 Qs (the rest that I have are 1/2... wish I had more of this one!!!)
I also bought 4 blueberry Frosted mini Wheats @ 2.50 and used 4 1/1 Qs from the new All You.
I also bought 2 bags of onions @1.99 and used the bogo from the coupon book for them, and I bought the 3 bags of carrots for the price of one deal w/Q from the ad.

Total after all Qs including the carrots, onions, etc... and after the 5 off from Kelloggs deal was 10.16 and I will be getting 10 back on my rebate... not too bad for 6 snacks, 4 cereals, and some other items we actually NEEDED!
