Yesterday, I bought 4 Marie Callender entrees, 3 Healthy Choice and 2 Van de Camp pork and beans. I should have been just over $20, but I accidentally grabbed the wrong size pot pie. I was already at the register and had already exchanged one of the items - having to run back to get it while the cashier was ringing up my stuff. I thought I had all the right items and then the catalina didn't print! I couldn't figure it out and the cashier couldn't either - she told me that there really wasn't anyone qualified to do anything about it (it was 11:00 p.m.) but she was positive that all I needed to do was bring back my receipt to get the catalina - and the manager could figure it out. If I had bought the wrong item, I could exchange it - or the manager would just fix it. Has anyone done this? I think I'll probably need to call before I go - and I'm not going this morning because of the thunderstorm - so I don't make a wasted trip. Do you think I can do this without returning all my items? Plus, I wanted to do this deal again. Is that possible? Oh, I forgot to add that I finally figured out that I got the wrong-size pot pie when I was unloading. I then checked my receipt - and sure enough THAT pot pie rang up at $2.49 as opposed to the $2.75 item I was supposed to get... Last edited by dollface4111; 08-03-2008 at 08:32 PM.

I have had similar problems with Catalinas printing, just this week in fact. I took my receipt up to Customer Service, she added up my qualifying products off the receipt, saw that I had bought enough, and then issued a Cub gift card for the $10. All that you should need is the receipt and explain what you should have received. You should have no problem exchanging either. I've been one product short and they let me buy it and gave me a gift card. Hopefully your customer service counter will be as helpful as mine has been. HTH.

I go to the one in Cambridge. Probably a little farther out than the one you go to!

Definitely. We're in the SW burbs. Here's hoping our manager/CS is as friendly as yours!

I just did this deal and had some $2/2 coupons that someone sent to me. It worked out to $ for 8 of them after the $10 catalina printed!

The customer service person gave my $10 in cash - woohoo! So, I ended up doing just fine. Hoping others got the deal as well - I thought it was pretty good! Kmchamplin - it sounds you got a WAY better deal. I was happy with a little over $1 per meal - sounds like you got them for a lot less - way to go!
