 Baby Help !
As a soon to become new grampa (blush) I need to bone up on baby stuff again. Can anyone give me some pointers on Diapers and such ? My son's wife is due in mid Aug, and I would like to try & help them out. They live in Huntington WV, so if someone from that area is listening, can you give me an idea on what stores are over there and what kind of deals might be out there so I can help them out ? The main thing will be diapers to start as they told me they plan on breast feeding to start. I'm not anywhere near your hometown but if you have a Walgreens nearby and can get a coupon book from the pharmacy (just ask about the perscription savings plan $50 coupon book) you can get some pretty cheap diapers. I always used Walmart's Parents Choice brand before couponing...The smaller packages are $5.74 or something close to that and they always worked just fine for our girls. Congrats on the new baby!

If they haven't had their baby shower yet at mine we had a raffle. If you brought a package of diapers or wipes you got entered into a drawing. It was for a $10 starbucks GC. I know you are looking for deals and such but it takes time to stockpile good sales so this should hold your DIL over until some really good sales come along.

Just wanted to say Congratulations!!! I would suggest that you sign up to receive mailings from Huggies, Pampers, and Luvs. You can register your info online to get coupons coming to your home address. Other tips on diapers~ Target will allow you to use a Target coupon and a Manf. coupon together, so if you get Target baby mailers, there are often good diaper coupons in there to combine with coupons from manufacturers. CVS also does ECB deals with diapers included from time to time! Currently, Food Lion has mega packs of Huggies and Luvs on close-out for around $8.50 per pack. That is an awesome price for the mega pack. Jumbo packs, which are smaller, are regularly priced about $10. I would ask them what local stores they have in their area and check those store forums here at AFC regularly for diaper deals. Our members are awesome about posting deals!!
