I am going to need to replace our digital camera before too long . . . the poor thing is falling apart! I can't afford to replace it with a similar one, but with technology changing, who knows?

Here's my ideal-world wishlist

8+ megapixels
SD card
prefer at least a little internal memory
REALLY WANT one that will take a picture and transition to 'ready' QUICKLY!!!
digital zoom and zoom lens on camera

I hate Kodak cameras and software, so please don't suggest those!

I would prefer something that WalMart sells due to gift cards, but who knows?

MUST be under 150.00

Does anyone have any ideas for me???

I am in the process of looking as well. Ours was accidentally dropped on our last trip to Disney and it broke. We had a Kodak and loved it. THe pictures were great. I have been looking and have found a Canon PowerShot A590IS 8MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical zoom on Amazon and NewEgg for $109.99. It seems like a really good deal as I am looking for a good camera. I am still looking as I kind of want one with higher optical zoom. NewEgg is a good website to look on as well.
