I ran into a problem at publix which was sad because Ive never had a bad experience there. I was told by the cashier that for the coupon to be vaild she had to peel it off the boxes herself. MASSIVE confusion!!

I've always peeled them off and added them to my stack of coupons so I dont forget them. Its a MQ on the box and doesnt say "must be peeled off by cashier" well she wouldnt take the b1g1 coupon and Im mad!! Has anyone else had this problem not just at publix or any store?

You should have asked her if SHE needs to be the one to cut coupons out of inserts/print them for them to be valid, .

i have heard of coupons that say the cashier has to remove them but if the coupons doesn't specify that then she was in the wrong

I have had one cashier (not at a Publix) give me grief once about this because how did they know I didn't take it off of something else. Well, because it is for X product and I bought X product would be the reason and that you could still see the glossy backing on the package from where the coupon peeled off of. But, in any case, that was once out of 1,000 checkouts so I figure it was just a power thing for that particular person.

Oh man I hope so I get so A.D.D when I am clipping Qs that I do about 100 other things during it. If they hve to do it at the store that would be so convenient.

She did take the others I had, just not the ones from the fruit roll-ups. I told her I didnt want any of them to take them off. I'll just avoid her like the plague during my next check out. I was just taken back and wondering if I was wrong. In my house fruit roll-ups are serious business and b1g1 is too good not to get.
