Ok so I have some coupons that say manufacturer coupon but have redeem at Petsmart. Can I redeem these are target or any other store for that matter??

I called CS at Target and the girl was clueless and of no help. I will probably just try with one to see if it works, but wanted to know if anyone else had done it.

I think some retailers will take other retailers coupons- but they are the exception not the rule.
For instance I belong to BJ's wholesale club and most of the coupons they send out in their magazine/catalog say manufacturer's coupon, but I couldn't use them at the supermarket.
I believe that CVS does take competitors coupons, as does Linens'n'Things- don't know about BBY.

I've used Catalina's that say "redeem at (specific store)" at other places. As long as they say mfr coupon somewhere on them, they should take them. I do it all the time at my Target. (WM is the worst about them, but they are about ANY coupons anymore.) I am in Peoria often (used to live in the Heights & have fam in Pekin) but haven't shopped at that Target in a LONG time.
I'd say give it a try!

Ditto! I've gotten many catalinas from Albertsons, and the Ralphs down the street will still accept them. I was told as long as they say 'manufacturer coupon' they would accept them!

I live around the Champaign area. I've never used those types of coupons at your Target but have no problems using them at mine in Champaign.

Does anyone know if stores get paid to issue and redeem these types of coupons? I tried using one from King Soopers at Walmart and they said they wouldn't take it (even though any other store by me would) because King Soopers "gets paid an incentive for handing these coupons out and redeeming them back at the King Soopers stores." That sounded like a bunch of bull to me, but I'm not arguing with idiots that work at my Walmart!

ok so I actually went and tried this.. and it worked at target.. however I am not going to think this is their policy.. I had a new girl (just in time for the holiday season).. and she scanned half my coupons twice.. and then ran the polly pocket as rebate checks... soooooooo i will have to try again and let you know how it goes....

on a good note though.. i made out like a bandit at target... i think i paid 12 something.. for 2 cans of dog food .. 2 cans of cat food.. 2 bags of cat food.. 1 bag of dog food... 2 post its... 2 polly pocket.. and 2 dove body wash... a pepsi and 2 travel size tide...
