On February 19, I entered into a trade with someone. I had to PM her to find out that she had received my share of trade. On Feb. 27, I emailled her again to find out where my trade was. As of today March 5, I have not received a reply nor have I received my share. I am a newbie....How long do I wait before posting a "Bad Trader" email?

I recommend you pm a mod or mods with all the information and let them advise you. While they cannot guarantee a positive outcome ....they can help you make a decision.

Was this trade from someone on AFC?

If it was on a board like this (or this one) I would first check the member list to be sure that they have even logged in lately. A lot of people don't visit every day I know I know shocking! But one thing to consider is they have not received the PM yet.

We all get upset if something goes wrong but understand that confusion does happen. If you contact someone please give them at least 48 hours to reply. We do not all check our messages all the time. There is also a 72 hour waiting period in which attempts to resolve the issue are made. Please don't jump the gun. You can not remove feedback once you leave it."

one of the other things you can do if you are using private messages on afc regarding trades:

there is a box at the bottom of the post that says "return receipt requested". you can check that box so that when the other person opens it and reads it, a popup appears to have them send you a return receipt.

Also, to check to see if they have read their message, you can go to your sent box and see if the icon is a different color. (it will turn a different color if they have opened you pm).

Also, this does not work if the reader hits cancel.

This only happens on incoming mail. Outgoing mail does not change after the receiver reads it. (At least not on this board)

Thanks...I'll keep this in mind for future trades (if I trade any more). I'm beginning to get a little gunshy.
