To be more specific - I can see a lot of you shop at many different stores. I am finding it difficult to keep track of the boards to determine which store has the best deal this week on this or that. Being in a big city, we have access to Walmart, Target, Kroger, FL, CVS, Rite-Aid, and Walgreens. The problem is, I just cant keep up and figure out which places to hit this week for what items. So far, I have only focused on CVS and also Kroger, because they double up to .50 Qs. How do you manage to keep track of where to go this week for this item and so on...? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! I wanted to add that my main reason for asking this is that I would love to grow my stockpile and sell it at a yard sale...But at CVS the deals are limited in quantity so I will obviously have to branch out if I want to accomplish this. Not to mention, find some way to get more inserts for free! |

I use the Microsoft Works Calender program on my computer (I think it comes with the Microsoft Office package) and whenever I see a good deal on the boards, I open the calender and type in the store name and a summary of the deal on the appropriate week. That way, I can keep track of deals several weeks in advance and trade Qs for future deals. Then each week I look at my notes to plan my transactions. If any store doesn't have any great deals I just skip it for the week. Also, the "Current Coupon Matchups" subforums for most stores are a great list of the deals of the week, just double check your store ad before you head out, since some deals are regional, etc. |

That is a great idea about the calender. I have a Walgreens, Alnertson's. and CVS within a minute of each other about 4 from my house. So if there is a deal at each of them then I just go to them all at once. There is also a Walmart there too. I rarely go to Walmart anymore. I find that with CVS and Walgreens that one has a great sale one week and the other store is a little weak that same week. You will get it though. If they are close to you then you just get to them in one trip!
