I have one of the huge 3-wick PartyLite candles that is burning such that the hot wax drips out all sides. It's only burned down approx. 1/3 way - most of which ended up on my carpet ) so still lots left!

I don't want to throw it away, and was wondering what I could do with it. I don't have wicks to make another candle here (though I suppose I could order some or wait until I go to the Big City to pick some up at the craft store).

Or should I/could I just cut off chunks and use in a tealight warmer?

What other things could I do to salvage it??

Can you wrap it in alum foil??

I use drippings and left over wax from candles in my potpurri hot pot! They melt just like the tarts and smell just as nice!

I burn my Partylite 3 wicks down to 1" or less all the time. Contact them, that shouldn't happen unless you had the candle tilted or perhaps in a draft while burning?

Do you need a tip to get the melted wax out of the carpet or have you gotten it out already?

Wax on carpet...place a cloth over the area..and use an iron to go over the area..it will come right up..this happened at a wedding and this is how we got it up...we was afarid we would have to pay to have the carpet replaced...and i would complain about the candle..they are expensive and they probably will replace it..

Don't forget to trim the wick.. My sister didn't trim the wick and it ended being a mess like you were explaining.
