| Hmmm, dont know. I think the PDF option was part of my software package that came with my computer. You could always use print screen and save the images to a word document and upload it that way.

You can also try zamzar.com- it converts files for free. I think it will do ppt --> pdf. My husband was playing with it this morning and reminded me about it.

I'll be giving my 1st couponing talk for free to my MOPS group in a couple weeks. I don't have a lot of time to create something from scratch - does anyone else have handouts/outlines they could post as an example? thanks!! |

Look at my posting (#23 in this thread). It has an attachement of the presentation I gave to my MOPS group about 6 weeks ago. They seemed to really like. They all want a "field trip" now to try it out |

I'm planning on printing out my handouts and putting them in a folder to give to each person. I'll post them if my class is a hit

This is wonderfully written! I taught a Q class for my adult education internship, it was a lot of work compiling all the material, knowledge that 'we' take for granted. |

My biggest tip on teaching is not overwhelming a newbie with too much information. That was my problem. I know alot now but forgot what it was like when I first started.

I have taught 3 classes and still I come home and tweek my presentation. I am new at teaching coupons so I am learning how to teach and what to teach as I go along. So much info so little time. I am actually doing 2 classes. One is for the basics and the 2nd one after they get the hang of managing coupons, using them, and getting a grip on them. Then I will teach more elaborate ways to save such as doing 3 transactions at once.

Also, my prestention is in powerpoint with many, many handouts. So I am always adding to my handouts. I don't have a website or anything so I don't want them to go home and not know how to do what I just taught them.

Honestly, I must have put hundreds of hours in putting this presentation and class together. So much to read, information to gather, and typing out handouts, getting visual aids together. An example, I didn't get many Catalinas so that was a little trying getting all the different types to show my class. Let me know how you did.

I try to keep my handout short -- three pages with room to take notes. I've been in way too many presentations where the presenter obviously took lots of time to put together a big handout, but it wasn't of interest to me. I scanned different kinds of coupons and catalinas and then put them into Power Point.

Hi Everyone! I typed up an informational hand out type thing (4 pages) on Refunding (or Rebates!). I included information on types of refunds, organizing them, etc. I know a lot of these classes are "Coupon" classes - but I hadn't seen a handout on Refunding - and thought for a more advanced class - or even a beginner coupon class - it would be nice to show in the "Tie-In" of couponing... The only thing is - is I don't know how to post it! I originally had it in a word document and a PDF - but can't figure out how to attach it! So I moved into a google docs for everyone to see - hope that's ok. If anyone knows how to upload - LMK and I will !https://docs.google.com/document/edi...thkey=CLTjlJQM
