I haven't taught a coupon classes, but I taught adults for a living before becoming disabled. Get some card stock, fold in half......pass around a big black magic marker, and have them write their name on it. That way you don't have to try and remember names.

I don't teach couponing but I do teach in my field - outlines and areas for folks to take notes are always very helpful, both for the students and to keep the teacher on point.

I am working on an outline so I can do my first class. I want to have it ready before I line up a class. But sometimes I get more motivation when I am working under pressure.

For the first class, a friend of mine is holding it at her house. If it goes well, and we have added interest, it is possible I may be teaching it at my church - innovation church in paradise valley.

I would love to help the ladies at my church. I have thought of starting by showing a couple of free items and maybe see if we can swap coupons.

I was very pleased with my class today. It was my very first class so I was really surprised I was not nervous. I guess when you are passionate about something and knowledgeable, it makes it a whole lot easier.

I had 13 people and we had fun! This group was a great first experience.

Just thought I would share my first experience.
