If I have a BOGO coupon and a $$ off coupon (i.e. $2 off) of an item, which coupon should I give first to avoid getting beeped at? Thanks

As for the order, I'm not sure. I have been able to use both sometimes and only one sometimes. Hopefully, someone else can explain it to both of us.

Thanks Tigergirl. I'm surprised that no one has responded with a definite answer....

Hmm, I am surprised also. Maybe since it's getting a bump now we may get an answer.

I give the BOGO first so the second item is free; then I give the $$$ coupon to go towards the first product. Once I gave the $$$ coupon first then the BOGO and what happen was that when she entered the BOGO she applied it the the one item I got the $$$ off on. SO not a great deal. Give the BOGO first. Hope this helps. |

Now I'm more confused because i didn't think that you could use any other Q with a bogo Q?? I thought that if the store had the bogo sale that you could use 2 Q's on each, but if you have a bogo Q that was it??? So Please explain this better ----- you can use a bogo Q and 1 or 2 regular $$off Q's??

I too am confused at the right answer. Every time it is brought up, there never seems to be a definate answer. So I have to wonder if people are trying to slide it by. I just cannot see how the manufacturer would want you to use a BOGO and a $ off coupon on two items. I am sure that this is not how they intenede it to be used. Again, I could be wrong. Please correct me if I am.

Whenever I have tried to use a BOGO and a coupon that states "$ off of TWO products", it beeps, and to me, that makes sense, because we are already getting 1 item for free. The only way I'm able to use a BOGO + $ off q is if I have 3+ items. With the Target Pledge deal, I bought 4 items and used 2 BOGOs and a $2/2 coupon. Others have used 2 $2/2 q's with success, too, but I don't really understand the logic behind that so I didn't try it in case the cashier wanted me to explain - ha

So, does this mean that if I have a bogo Q for 2 items and 1 say $.75 off 1 Q I can use both with the logic that I am buying 1 product and getting one free, so I can use the $.75 off the item I bought?? Other than that I can't see how this would be legit. Not even sure if this scenerio would really work. Please let us know for sure. Thanks |

I am fairly new to this too. AND have wandered the exact same thing. Didn't get a straight answer either. This is what I have found by trial and error. It depends on your cashier. If I am correct, you aren't supposed to be able to use 2 man. q's (b1g1 & $$$ off q) when you b1g1 free. You can't use the b1g1 q on one item, and the $$$ off q on the free item because the free item is free-you didn't pay for it. However, before I even found this site, I had this situation come up. I gave the guy the $$$ off coupon first and then the b1g1 and it beeped. But he pushed it through. Stefani1: unless your coupon says b2g1 your .75 coupon would not work. But you could always try and see what your cashier does. I will say this: if you are at a store that has an instore q, like walgreens, give it to them in this order-b1g1, then man. q, then store q. By doing it this way, you get more money off. If you gave them the man. q and the store q. first, it would take a couple of bucks off, and then when you gave them the b1g1 it takes it off the coupons that you already gave them. Does that make sense? For example: item costs: $5, you have a b1g1 q, $1 off man. q, and $1 off instore q. if you give them the b1g1 first it would look like this- $5 for the first item + $5 for the 2nd item=$10 -$5 b1g1 q. =$5 -$1 man. q. -$1 isc=$3. If you give them the man.q and isc q first it would look like this-$5 for the first item + $5 for the 2nd item= $10-$1 man. q. -$1isc (isc takes $1 off each item you buy)=$7-b1g1 q.(which is now only worth only $3 because you just used your coupons on the one item you are paying for ($5 -$1man -$1isc=$3, only giving you $3 off instead of $5 off in the first senerio with the b1g1 q used first) =$4. Hope that makes sense. |

I've used BOGOs and $ off together before and never had a problem. The BOGO coupon applies to the item you're getting for free. The .75 off 1 coupon (for example) applies to the one you're paying for. Now, if the $ off coupon was $$ off TWO items, you would not be able to use it with a BOGO unless you were buying 3 items. Thanks my take, anyway!
