Buying Inserts and coupons?

I've never bought coupons or inserts and I was interested in it. What are good sites for this? Is it better to buy full inserts or clipped q's?

I buy/trade coupons on AFC and ebay. I've also sold coupons on ebay. I buy multiple quantities of individual coupons as I need them or for a big sale so I can stock up or coupons that are rare/hard-to-come-by for products we buy or are loyal to.

If you live in an area that doesn't get the "good" coupons then I can see buying whole inserts or if you can't get the Sunday paper cheap enough (we buy for $1 at the Dollar Tree).

I think buying inserts/coupons is a very personalized decision based on your particular circumstances

I've bought/traded from AFC. There's one woman I buy from who's really great to work with. Her prices are comparable to others and she has good feed back rating. I always get the inserts a couple days after ordering.

I don't want to buy them all the time, I mostly want to get some to jumpstart my collection. I don't have many coupons because I am just getting started, again... I let a bunch expire.

The newspaper our inserts come in is $2.00 on Sunday, and I dont mind spending money to get a few but with the Holidays we don't get inserts and when we do they aren't really that great.

I figured if I bought some inserts or clipped q's I'd have some to work with now.

The woman I buy from doesn't require you to buy every week or a certain amount. I also trade stamps for them instead of using PP for them when I decide to get them. My papers are also $2 which is why I started buying extra inserts. She sells inserts for $0.25 each. Shipping is $5.15 for priority mail.

Oh wow... That's not bad! Is this someone from AFC? Does she sell to anyone?

She is from AFC: sfshoppergirl. You can do a search for her and see all her posts. Or you could check out the FSOT thread, in the Complete Inserts and she has posted what she has for each week.

If you just want 1 or 2 coupons out of each one, you should order straight from:

The Coupon Clippers - Saving Together

They have an amazing array of coupons.

There are a couple of coupon clipping services that you can find up under the "Coupons" drop down menu at the top of each AFC page. They are towards the bottom. I have used a couple of them and have had no issues personally.

Just a reminder, that an AFC member must have 50+ meaningful posts and have been a member for a minimum of six weeks to be able to take part in the FSOT forum. You can find more about this in this post. Unfortunately, there have been too many issues in the past and they had to instill a policy to protect members from bad trades.

Thank you, I knew there were rules for posting in FSOT, but I wasn't sure of what they all were.
