"One coupon per purchase per customer"?

Can somebody help me clarify this please? I have 3 of the Qs for 1 free Good 'n Natural bar that I'd like to use Saturday, but it says "limit one coupon per purchase per customer."

Doe this mean the same as one per purchase? One per transaction? One per visit? What?

I feel like it should mean one per purchase, because one purchase is one item...if one person buys several items, it should be one per item. I'm just doubting that because of the fact that they added the "per person" qualifier. Should I just have DH use one, then I use one in a separate transaction and save the third for my trip to Rite Aid on Sunday?

Help!

I had no problem using multiple Good 'n Natural bar coupons at CVS.

Thanks I'm going to try them at Rite Aid on Sunday I think. Worst case scenario I just have to do separate transactions, so it can't hurt to try, right?

Never hurts to try. Just make sure to find the coupon friendly cashiers (usually young, males). Good luck!

This is totally true about young males!

I take one per purchase to be one per item- just like all MQ's. Don't be throne off by "per person;" you're only one person anyway, right? Don't sweat it!

I just bought five in one transaction yesterday without any issues at CVS. No worries.

I've only met one young male cashier who seemed very coupon friendly...which is odd because everyone keeps dating they're always the best. DH and I have a favorite young female cashier at Walmart now...we try to shop when we know she'll be there, she's in awe of what we save...so she doesn't give us any problems.

And that's what I figured about the wording, I'm one person making several purchases in one transaction, I just wanted to double check

Thanks for the replies, everyone! I went ahead and used them at Rite Aid on Sunday and the only thing the cashier said was "you're getting a pretty good deal today!" (I got 3 Good 'n Natural bars, a toy school bus for my 3 year old, and 2 newspapers for $4.49 OOP and saved $5.37). Used them all on one transaction with no problem
