Ok so if you can only use on coupon per item or purchase then how do some of you save so much...Or am I just not undestanding it correctly For example: You have a coupn $1.50 glad candles but some of you say you use multiple of them...how in one purchase? Does my question even make sense? I guess I am asking if you have multiple coupons and you buy that same item multiple times than you can save each item and coupon. Is that right? Ahh so much to learn! |

you are right! if you have 10 coupons, you can get 10 of that item. Some Q's state one per transaction and some stores are strict about this, so you might need to do multiple transactions. We save so much because we stock up on items that we use and have multiple coupons....either through buying numerous papers (dollar tree, etc) or by buying them from coupon sites or trading on here. HTH! Kate

most stores will let you use for example...5 glade coupons for $1.50 off on FIVE glade candles. You can't use more than one manufaturer's coupon on more than one item. BUT some stores have their own coupons and wil let you pair them with a man Q...like Walgreens and CVS... So I could go into WAGS and get 2 Glade candle tins for $5...use 2 $1.50 man Q for each candle AND if WAGS had an instore Q I could use that too for each tin and if that product was giving a RR (register reward) I would get it even cheaper or possibly FREE ![]() You can only use 1 man Q for each item you buy regardless of store HTH

Thanks Kate! That helps a ton! Ok so say I have two coupons for one item. Can I use both? Ex: $1.50/2 General Mills Ceral $1.00 Coco Puffs If I buy Lucky Charms and Coco Puffs can I use both of those coupons? Does it depend on the store? TIA!!!!!!!!! |

you also save so much if you buy the item on sale and use a q and then start a stockpile of items that you use on a regular basis. for example a few months ago they came out with a q for buy 10 koolaid packets and get $2 off sugar. so i traded for coupons on this site and waited for the sale on koolaid that my store always runs. so on sale i paid $1.09 for 10 packs of koolaid and 5#'s of sugar. i now have about 150 packs of koolaid along with 15 - 5# bags of sugar (i bought the storebrand sugar which is 2.09 and koolaid was on sale for .10/pack). so now i'm good for a while on sugar & koolaid. i've done this with other items also. hope that makes sense. nicki

You can, however, combine store coupons with manufacturer coupons. For example, Target recently had a 0.75 coupon for cereal. You could use this along with ONE of the MQ mentioned above. The real savings begin when you combine a store coupon with a manufactureres coupon with a really good sale price. Fo example, say Target normally sells coco puffs at regular price of $2.50. They then advertise coco puffs on sale for only $2. You as a savy couponer go out and get 10 of the $1 off MQ's by buying multiple papers, trading on AFC, or buying online through a clipping service. You also use the Target coupon generator and print off 10 of the target coupons. Then you go to the store and check out with 10 boxes of coco puffs cereal and 20 coupons. Before coupon price would be $2x10 = $20. After coupons would be $2.50. Your savings 90%. In the end, you got 10 boxes for the price of one. The best way to save money is to wait for a good sale and THEN use your coupons. Make sense? Last edited by 1217topher; 09-15-2009 at 11:06 AM. |

Use the coupon database to identify the Q's you want. Click on the binnoculars button (indicating you are looking for the Q) and a list will appear showing members looking to sell or trade this coupon. Send one of these members a private message to initiate a trade. Let them know what you want and what you have in return (paypal, stamps, or coupons to trade). Once you reach an agreement, Q's are sent in the mail. To sell a Q The opposite is true as well. If you want to trade or sell. Go to the database, find the Q you want to sell and click on the FSOT button. You can then say how many Q's you have to trade and what you looking in return. When people want that particular Q, they will send you an email. |

some stores like Walgreens will let you use their store coupon and your manufacturer coupon together, and sometimes they even give a cash coupon back for future purchases on most things in the store. Walgreens calls them Register Rewards. If you time it right, you can use this method when the items are on sale. You can get an item for free and even make money off the purchase. Like right now, in my area Walgreens has a sale on True North Crisps or Clusters for $3. I used a $1 manufacturer coupon. So I paid two dollars, and Walgreens gave me back $3 in Register Rewards. So, I got the product for FREE and made $1! The Register Rewards are just like cash that you use on your next purchase. I just read that Target may also allow matching up coupons like this, but I have not tried it at Target yet. But I will! Other stores like K-Mart and some local stores hold periodic promotions where they double and even triple the amount of your manufacturer coupon. Your local Sunday newspapers will have inserts announcing these promotions, and of course includes coupon inserts. I just joined this site right now! I was already doing very good using the above method and only relying on newspaper inserts and sales. Now I expect to do much better. We'll talk more later about other strategies. I need help too. Where are the coupons on this site, and how do I print them? |

Double check with your Walgreen's stores though. One of my near by Walgreen's will let me use a MQ and a WGQ together, but another store not too far away will not let me. I asked the one store that does and she said that the Walgreen's policy is to accept both but some stores try to not let you do it. So, I shop at the other store that does.
