I was shopping at my grocery today when I found a small stack of coupon inserts on a shelf. They were not bound or in an envelope or anything. Just the inserts. I thought maybe someone had left them there, so I continued with my shopping. Later I had to go back to that aisle and pick up something else and I noticed they were still there.

Now, I like to play the coupon fairy and deposit coupons all over the store for things that I won't buy or that expire soon and I won't get to use them. I glanced through the stack and many coupons had expired (about half) and many had already been cut. I thought, maybe this is another coupon fairy.

Honestly, I didn't think about bringing them to the front for someone to claim. Now that I have them at home, I feel guilty. I'd hate for them to get thrown away by some store employee when they can go to good use, but I don't want to take some coupon mommy's stash, either....although I would notice the minute I checked out of the store if I had accidentally left my stash (with no scissors) somewhere.

What do you think?
(BTW< I would bring back a penny if the cashier had given me too much change. I really thought this was OK at the time.)

First off thank you coupon faries out there. I have been shopping and found coupons on iteams i need that soemone had just left there. That always makes me =)
And I think you should not feel guilty. How many where there? I am sure someone just left them and even if they didnt mean 2 you went back again and no one had come to claim them. So NO guilt on you! Plus it might be good Karma you left coupons for people and now bam there is some for you =)
