little confused on the most efficient way to oraganize it...

what are you all finding works for you?

I'm just starting out so right now all I'm using is a 1" binder that I had on hand with baseball card sleeves that I purchased at WalMart.

I'm grouping the coupons on each page by category, but don't have dividers yet.

I've read what others have been doing and will no doubt adjust things as I go along and find out what works for me.

I almost think this is a personal thing depending on what you buy. I have mine divided into catergories, cereal, paper products, beauty, medicine, dairy, frozen foods, etc. I have also had people tell me they do it alphabetically, some do it by the ways the aisles are organized in their favorite store. i think you just have to try a few ways to figure out what works best for you.

I have my binder divided by price. I have coupons that triple (.75 and under) and coupons that double (.50 and $1 or more).

I have my binder in Alphabetically order.....But really it is a personal choice

I have my binder divided by categories and I use baseball card holders my binder has a pocket on the front and that is where i put the ads. Also I put all of the special cards inside in a pocket. Sometimes I keep a small amount of cash in it because my orders are always a small amount and i hate doing a debit everytime. example .56cent

I have a 2" binder, I use baseball sleves,and also have some curency sleves(love these)
and also a few photo sleves. I keep lined paper with deals from each store written down, I keep a baggie with coupons I plan on using at ea. store clipped to front of ad,
I have myne divided by stores that I get Q's for:target,Walgreens,Albertsons, then I have them divided by: Food: drinks,dairy,condiments,frozen,etc. Household: cleaners,baggies,t.p., paper towels,etc. HBA: make up,deodorant, shampoo,toothpaste,etc. and in the back I use a photo sleve for coupons to be filed/re-filed,ex. soon. I have a big baggie for fast food also.
hope this helps, my binder is tearing it's gotton so thick but I think it's more from the ads and opening it so much. there are lots of photos of awsome binders from AFC members if u do a serach. Good luck.

If you go to Smart Spending Coupon Organizer you'll find a professionally printed set of divider pages for $14. I love mine. The clear sleeves stick out a little further than the dividers but it still works for me. Good luck as you determine what works best for you.

thanks for that link. I have mine organized by categories and need the divider pages and a few more pages to put coupons in. I have maybe 1 empty page in my binder. Think I might need a bigger binder soon...
