I have searched all over the web but can't find what I am looking for anywhere and with 2 kids, I don't really have time to search stores. Here's my dilemma: I have a 3 ring zippered binder (it used to be a planner ) and it's not one of the big ones, I think it holds around 8.5 X 5.5 pages. I want to use this for a coupon binder because I want to Go Green and reuse stuff. right now I'm using one of the accordian style ones and it is NOT working out for me. My problem is I can't figure out where to get the baseball card/photo sheets to fit it for a decent (cheap) price. I had a friend suggest comic book protectors ? but I'm not sure that would work out since I don't know if I could separate them into slots correctly. Does anyone have any suggestions or an idea of where to find something that size that will work? Thank you all for your great ideas!

You can cut the baseball card sheets to fit. Meaning cut maybe a few inches off the right hand side and maybe trim across the top if needed. As long as you don't cut the sides with the holes for the binder you should be fine.

I used to use the same kind of binder you are talking about as an organizer myself. I know for a fact you can get "business card holders" that will fit in them. that should work to hold the Q's. If not I think what momtocj7mea says sounds like a good plan too. Best of luck HTH!

I have a food saver, and I've been able to take sheet protectors and slip and old magazine inside and make my slits where I want them, then take it to the food saver and seal the bottoms of them, as well as separators in the middle. Don't let the food saver seal for as long as it wants too, just to the count of 4, then press cancel and it's sealed well. |

business card holder would work great, not sure on the price tho. and cutting down the baseball card holders would work also, I guess it just depends on what price you find them at. I found a pack of 10 baseball cards ones at my locally owned 99 cent and up store for 99 cents.

Thanks for all the great suggestions! I knew I could count on you guys to have some ideas. I never even thought of cutting down the baseball card sheets ![]() The binder I'm trying to get up and going is an old DayRunner planner I had lying around. You can usually get these right about now on clearance for almost nothing because the year is half over. I just took out all the calendar and address pages and there is lots of room for a small legal pad for lists, a calculator, and other couponing necessities. HTH |
