| New, HELP! Do not know what I'm doing!
OK, I have some coupons in my box. I clicked and see how to print them, go to mf's website and go from there correct? But what about the other coupons, the ones that do not say printable? How does that work? Please help! I'm new and completely overwhelmed and confused. |

I was just looking for an answer to that same question! Thanks so much for asking about this, I just started on this site and love seeing all the coupons on the list but can't get them all printed.

If they are printables, there should be a link you can follow. Now, sometimes the offer isn't good anymore, I've had that happen several times, but most of the time it does work. If the coupon is a Bricks coupon, you'll be able to print it twice. After it prints the first time, just hit your arrow back and do it again. The Bricks coupons #1 will say bricks in the website when you link, but also when it sends it shows a little cartoon-kinda thing of the computer and printer. Okay. If the coupon you want says anything else, it means that somebody here spotted it somewhere. That could mean: it was on a blinkie at their store and who knows if you'll find it, but it does exist. Or they had it mailed to them, and you could try going to the manufacturer's website and asking for one. Or it was on a tearpad or booklet or Catalina that somebody found. It doesn't mean that you can find it, of course. But the coupon is out there somewhere and if it's one you really want, you can post that you're searching for it and maybe someone here has some. What I've been doing now, a little while into it... I initially went thru the whole database just for the printables and printed all I wanted. Now that I've done that, I only go to the database for two reasons: 1. if there is something on my shopping list that I don't have a coupon for, I do a search and see if I can find a printable for it. And 2. if I read a post in one of the forums where there is a really good deal (like almost free) for something I wouldn't normally have on my list, and there's a printable for it, I'll go do that. |

I'm glad I'm not the ONLY newbie that's completely confused. :-)

The printable coupons are in bold. You are correct in that you click on the bold title and it takes you to the print site. The other coupons in the database have a variety of different sources. Some are from the Sunday inserts, some are blinkies, others are tearpads, and some are found in magazines. It is helpful to see what coupons are out there for a product because if it is something you use often, you can trade for that coupon in our trading forums. I use the database all the time to see the different values of insert coupons~ different regions get higher values than others. When I find a higher value coupon, I can add it to my ISO list or post in the ISO forum and try to make some trades for it. I do the same for products that I use often~ sometimes there are coupons in the database that I had no idea were out there! Then I can try to make some trades for those I really need. Don't hesitate to ask questions! This can be sort of overwhelming at first, but AFC is a friendly community where people are always willing to help you get started! Welcome. We are glad that you are here!

Here are a few links to help you create a wishlist and an ISO list and link those to your profile: http://www.afullcup.com/forums/wishl...-wishlist.html http://www.afullcup.com/forums/hot-d...fsot-list.html
