I've been couponing for years, but have really started getting SERIOUS (okay, obsessed) about it since finding this site.
Here is a question I have:
If I get a coupon that says "manuf. coupon" on it, but it has a store logo (for example, the Kroger ones they send in the mail), can I use it anywhere, or only at Kroger?? And, if the answer is I can use it anywhere, how often am I going to have to explain that to cashiers who think its only for that store?
Do you cut the store logo off the bottom to avoid this problem?

If I've been wrong all along, then I've thrown out some GOOD coupons because I thought I couldn't use them!! Please answer for me! THANKS!!!

It's YMMV, I think. Some stores just won't hear you at all when you say it says MANUF. COUPON b/c they will only see the other store's logo. Also, sometimes there is a deal between the manf. and that particular store and you can only use it there. Read what the fine print says and if it doesn't mention that stipulation, ask the competitor store what their policy on it is. They may say yes, but be prepared for a no. No harm in asking, though!
