Do you guys have Freecycle yahoo groups? I post wanted: sunday coupon inserts and other post offer: sunday coupon inserts. I email them and tell them I am interested and go pick up.

I have a connection to a recycle place and I get as many q's as I can and want..One day I could have had a whole pallet full if I wanted them...I had over 3 boxes of ss 1/25 and have about one good size box left...

I second the Dollar Tree Store. They have the paper for $1 when it is normally $2. They all laugh and say the articles are the same in all the papers. Now they have 6 papers waiting for me every sunday and anticipate me coming in.

Diving into a dumpster...it is more fun then it sounds...and i actually don't DIVE...I just slide open a window of the paper recycling bin---and it is not gross at all...but lots of FREE inserts!

My community has recycling trailers for all recycling and it also has paper recycling only dumpsters. I don't jump in, I just reach in and grab what I can, and if I can't grab it with my hands I use the GRABBER that my DM got me for Christmas. (I am serious, she did get it for me for Christmas. She is my biggest fan for getting extra inserts!! )
I haven't bought a newspaper at all in 2 months. There is some inserts that I have 15-20 of easily. I share these with DM and a very dear friend who got me into couponing.
The friend said that it was 'the best gift' she has ever recieved!!

You can also get the Sunday paper for only .88 at Walgreens. I get about 7 every week and use my register rewards to pay for them..

Our recycling center dosent allow anyone to go in and look. However we know a guy at the newspaper who gives us 20-30 every week It's very nice!

I worked at lowes food and made friends with the newspaper guy. He would leave them for me behind the counter but then we got a new guy and hes old and rude and yeah. No more coupons for me. Plus I quit working there like 2 weeks ago LOL!

But I do go to the laundry mat on Sunday morning and they have at least 2 papers! Score!

i agree with several of you i hate buying the newspaper i only get it for the qs ughh and my paper company doesnt recycle thiers they just keep selling them even after sunday ive gotten lucky and found inserts here and there but like i said "lucky" those who get them free im jealous

DD used to work part time at a hotel. She brought me the inserts from all the papers. I wish she still had that job. So, if you know someone who works at a hotel..........

It depends on where you live. I used to buy my paper at Walgreens, but then the paper cost went up to 1.50 and it was cheaper to get it delivered on Sundays (Thankfully, my family and a few good neighbors give me their q's)!

I just talked w/one of my friends from church and she is going to give me the coupons from our local Sun. Paper-I'm super excited!!!

1) Dumpster... I NEVER pay for a sunday paper until I have exhausted my other resources! I know where the hub is for the paper carriers (me and my hubby used to deliver in college) so I go there and look in their RECYCLE only bin. The papers here come wrapped in brown wrappers and strapped so its not hard to find inserts amongst the sea of brown! I habitually get 5-10 a week and usually there are older weeks in there too when the carriers clean out their vehicles!

2) Dollar Tree- $1. Also hear that the Family Dollar and Dollar General does it in some places. Get on the phone and call around. You never know what you might find.

3) Leftovers... in our area this does not work because our "locations" can turn their papers back in and not be charged. Now... if I could convince one of them to let me yank the coupons out of the stacks I would be set!

4) Friends and Family. Most of them know I coupon and benefit from my stash! Then all mail me, or drop off, inserts or IP's as I request them! I have a blog and even have many blog readers- some anonymously from other states!- who mail me their inserts- PRE-CLIPPED! How awesome is that?

Has anyone checked apartment complexes? I live in one and a few weeks ago I noticed a RP sticking out of the trash can by the mailboxes. I picked it up and went home. I called my Dad (he is a retired postmaster) and asked him it that was illegal. He said once it is in the trash, no. So every Tuesday night and Wednesday mornings I grab my yellow gloves and go thru the trash can. I know it sounds gross but there is never anything other than papers in there. Last week I was able to get 20 of the RP, I didn't even have to dig, they were right on top (best part is they are FREEEEEE). I was going to go back and get more but my husband said 20 was plenty.........he just doesn't understand my addiction!!!

I just moved into an apartment complex and we have a chute for garbage, newspaper and other recycling. Now I just have to figure out where they go to. The only bad thing is that the inserts here don't have as many coupons as other places. Last Sunday's RP had only 4 coupons in it.

Our dumpsters for the recycling center says they will prosocute if they find anyone going through them
