I'm wondering how many times you can transfer a Rx and get the gift card coupons! I did Rite Aid last month and Target this month, but I have more coupons for gift cards at Rite Aid. Could I transfer from Target to Rite Aid again next month? Or do the pharmacies keep track of your Rx? Can you only transfer once through the life of a Rx? Thanks!

I don't have a Rite Aid, BUT I do this ALL THE TIME with CVS - they haven't said a thing! YMMV though.. good luck! It's worth a try if you ask me!

Some of the coupons do have disclaimers, so it's best to read the coupon for transfer closely!!

It depends on the store, who the pharmacist is, your coupon and all sorts of fun fine print sometimes. HAHHAHA But I have transferred from CVS to Target and back again without any questions from the people taking the RX. I figure if they have an issue, I have lots of other stores to pick from too.

The rite aide ones I got today say you can only do there's once every 6 months. However the CVS and Target ones have no fine print that I can see. I am so excited I am taking some prescriptions to target tomorrow to transfer and buy christmas presents with. Does anyone know if they only let you do one per person? Should I take them to different stores??

They will group them all together on one Q unless you take them in separatly, or different stores. I just take them in on different days.

I get all my scripts filled at CVS. Most, not all, will take the Rite-Aid transfer coupon or Kmart, Walgreens, etc and give you a CVS gift card for the amount listed on the coupon for keeping your business there.

Sometimes they do it with no hassle, sometimes they give a major hassle.

That is not the norm if you have a store doing that you are very lucky.

If you have monthly scripts there is another way to do this. Make an appointment with your lead pharmacist. Explain to them that you have $??????? worth of scripts to fill each month. Tell them you are on a limited budget and nomrally fill your transfer your scripts each month for the GCs. Ask if they would be willing to make a deal with you. Like give you a $25 GC each month. This works sometimes. It works better if:

You have lots of scripts that you fill.
There are lots of pharmacies in the area.
You are willing to walk away and take your business elsewhere if they say no.
And you really are willing to take all your scripts there.
