Sorry if this is a duplicate? I was trying to search and it posted! Anyway, can I use an insert coupon with an internet coupon or are they the same thing? I tried today at my Jewel and it beeped when scanned. It did let me use a Jewel coupon with a manuf. coupon, but I wasn't sure about the internet and insert one. Thanks! |

No, you can only use 1 manufacturer's coupon per item, regardless of where you got them from. You can often use 1 manufacturer's coupon and 1 store coupon on the same item, though.

Sometimes you can use more than one if you do a BOGO2 or 3, etc. BUT: you MUST read the Fine Print of the q. Make sure it says that it CANNOT be combined w any other q or promotion. That is the key, & I am finding NUMEROUS AFCers who are NOT taking the time to read the fine print of the q. This is where you can really get hung up. Don't be a "coupn robot". By this I mean: matching up your qs then handing them to the cashier w/o actually taking the time to READ what the q says! Gasp!!! PS: read my siggy line, says it all.

Everyone's points are good ones, but please, let's remember to keep a friendly tone about it, ok?

It depends on where you use them. There are stores like most drugstores that come up with in-store coupons and they allow these to be combined with regular manufacturer coupons which you can find from several sources: magazines, Sunday paper, homemailers, blinkies, peelies, etc. Sometimes, there are stores like WAG that allow stacking of their in-store coupons so you can use an IVC with another WAG roto ad coupon plus a mfr coupon for the same item giving you a lot of savings or sometimes money back if there is a RR promo. you just have to ask for store policies to know how they handle coupons for maximum savings. Good luck!
