Question about overage
I know what overage is I just wanted to know do you get that money back or does it go toward your total and bring it down?

no, I don't get cashback for overage but use it for other items I buy that have no coupons for. I make sure my total don't go very low to avoid my CRT getting scrutinized.

I keep in mind, overage is not a right and I don't complain if I don't get it. I just take if off the transaction if I have to pay too much tax and I don't really need it.
