I need some help. I am brand new to AFC. I have a stack of coupons that I would like to post for trade but I have no idea how. I have clicked on the "Add a coupon" link and it tells me that I "Do not have permission to view this page". I am getting a little overwhelmed. I have tried reading some of the other postings on the message boards, but it seems that many members are using abbreviations and terms that I am not familiar with and I don't know what to do. I am sure once I get the hang of it that the site will be easy to use, I am just lost right now. Any help is appreciated. Thank you for any help.

If I'm not mistaken either you have to be a member for X amount of time or you have to post X amount of times before you an add a coupon to the database. It wouldnt let me at first either.

What abbreviations are you confused on? Post some and I'm sure you'll get an answer quick.

I am still confused. I am not usually much for message boards and I am not sure what posting on the board has to do with trading coupons. I thought that if I had coupons that someone else could use that I could post them and someone else could use them. Some of them will probably expire before I am able to post 15 times or whatever the minimum is. Also, I'm not sure what "viewing links or images in signatures" has to do with trading coupons.

as for coupons you want to trade, you can create a new post in the FSOT forum [Forum Jump, at bottom of page]
or you can select those coupons in the coupon database and click 'FSOT - Add ~ Process' button at bottom of list

I think it's more of a security thing, not just wanting someone to post. They probably wouldn't want someone just signing up, never contributing but taking all information. (not saying you would but just for security reasons) Same with being able to see the signatures. Some people have their email addresses in their signatures. They want to make sure spammers etc can't get a hold of info like that.

LOL I totally understand! It took me 3 days of reading post, researching and lots of blank stares to figure it out for the most part.

If you haven't *snooped* around and read post I would do that first. Find the forum for the grocery store/drug store you mainly shop at. At the top are the "sticky's" that have most of the information you'll need. Then I'd start venturing out.

I really appreciate everyone's help. I am sure I will get the hang of it. I was so excited when I found out about this site and then I realized it wasn't as easy as I had hoped. I will keep working on it.
