Idea Brand Name First?
Are there guidelines on posting new items to the coupon database?

It makes sense to me to start with the brand name of the item ~ Kraft, L'Oreal, Charmin, Healthy Choice, etc...

...but, I am seeing all kinds of variations...starting with...
Any
$x off
Save
4-pack
etc
...which means the brand items do not sort together in the database

I add stuff to the database often, so I am usually trying to check if a coupon is already there before posting a duplicate...

it would be helpful if this was a common approach...

I agree with you. When I enter Qs, I try to enter the brand first. I try to enter any Qs I get on Sunday that aren't in the database or for which I received a different value in my area. I list the brand first and try to always include any size exclusions or requirement in the description line.

BTW, this is a little OT, but how did you get the database queen bling? Is that a promo that I missed? I enter a lot of stuff in that database!

Ooh, you've hit on one of my few AFC sore spots. I really wish the coupon entry form could kind of "force" a more uniform entry. I've mentioned it on the "cry for help" . . . we'll see if they can come up with something to help out!
