| Howto? View my *quantities* of FSOT
When I look at my FSOT list, it doesn't show me how many of each q I've got listed as available for FSOT. Is there some easy, ideally no more than one click away, method of finding out how many I have? If I want to update my quantity, such as adding another one because I've since gotten an additional copy of that coupon through a swap, I can't do it from my FSOT page without gyrations like the following: 1) Click on the Description field to pull up the coupon information popup (Note: When the coupon information popup is invoked from inside the FSOT listing, the FSOT icon means "REMOVE from FSOT list" instead of the "Add or Overwrite your FSOT List" like it does when you get the popup from the database entry) 2) Click on the SALE icon 3) Record the quantity that shows up next to my name 4) Open a new window, or leave the FSOT screen: Go to the "Coupon Database" link 5) Search for the coupon 6) Click the checkbox and then FSOT-Add 7) Enter the updated quantity and save 8) Go back to the FSOT screen What am I missing here? There's got to be a better way! Some way of doing the update directly from the FSOT screen when I'm viewing it? Or perhaps from the coupon-info screen that pops up when I click from the FSOT screen? I can't do an overwrite of the quantity with a new quantity (which can be done from the database listing coupon-info-popup) because the FSOT icon is changed to execute a removefsot when the popup is invoked from the FSOT listing itself. If I have 10 of a coupon and sell 3, or if I have 10 and find another one, I want to update the quantity from my FSOT screen, without having to leave my FSOT listing and go through the database ... And the reason I want it to tell me what my quantities are are twofold: 1) I want to be able to proof my quantities -- perhaps I've used a couple myself, or given/swapped them? This tells me how many I am leading other people to believe that I have available to ship to them. 2) I am keeping my Qs in folders by insert. Then when I get another insert or a loose Q of that type, I just want to pull it up and add 1 to it, and drop the new page into the folder. I don't want to have to pull out that folder and do a count of how many I have on hand ... not if I'm trusting the computer! Particularly on days like today, where I've spent several hours going through piles of loose Qs and inserts, and I keep finding more onesie twosies of certain ones that I know I've already keyed into the db and the quantity hasn't gone down since I keyed it in. |
