Question Is it the Same Coupon or Not - Database Question?

I'm trying to set up my FSOT list and I'm a bit confused about how the Coupon Database works. I've located (for instance) a coupon that I have available FSOT that is also listed on the database with the same bar code (or just the same 1st section of the bar code listed). My concern is, when I've clicked on that coupon listed it does not give specifics in the description (ex. Jumbo pack or larger). So, is it the same coupon or not?
Thanks in advance for any help.

I think if the bar code is exactly the same then it is probably the same coupon (for the same exact item same amount off etc) If just the first part is the same then it may be different. I have seen times when I know a coupon is for a specific size and it doesn't say so in the database because whoever entered it didn't enter all the info.

That's what I'm questioning because I'm seeing for example - Huggies Pull-ups for the amount I have one for and the first 6 #'s in the bar code are a match but 2nd set of #'s are all listed as 000000. I appreciate honesy and I don't want to mislead anyone on my FSOT list. Can we list a item again in the database and disclose all necessary info on the coupon or would that be a problem?

If it's a difference in something like barcode, and it's not a case of the db simply having a blank barcode, I'll key in my version as a new entry.

That's just my personal preference. I don't know if we should be doing that or not. I like to have more detail, not less.

I'm always keying it in if it's a difference in something important, such as a minimum size or similar restriction. Our inserts tend to have several differences from other cities', so I'm keying in a dozen or more simply for things like changing a $1-off-2 to 50c-off-1 type of entry.
