After receiving a few emails about Internet Coupon using from AFC Members I thought I would write something of a game plan for those of you who are tired of getting nothing for your paper & ink: How long have you shopped in the store? How long has your manager been at the store? Get the managers name and store number with address and phone number of the store, his district managers name and phone number. With all this information write a letter of complaint to the manufacturer of the coupon they refused. Mention names etc etc etc. CC to the rite aid corporate office, the district manager and the store itself. Do you keep your receipts for all transactions at the store? If not, start saving them before you write your letter showing how you should be considered a "valuable customer" Make a spread sheet showing dates and totals and then make up a sheet that shows what else you would have bought at their store had you been able to use your computer printed coupons make copies of the printed coupons and make sure you write them in the spread sheet, Try it in excel program from there you can create a graph or a pie graph. PS nothing impresses a company "man or woman" like spread sheets and graphs, then show a graph of just 10 additional "customers" like you that would use coupons in their store. Nothing makes their eyes bludge like seeing a bottom line of dollars and profit. Their bonuses are based on "sales" if 10 people a week couldnt use $1 off coupon on an item priced at $5 that is a $40 a week lost of sales x 52 weeks thats a trip to Hawaii for some ($2080) loss of sales for just $520 worth of $1 coupons for 10 people for 52 weeks. Make that into 50 people and then 100 if you live in a big city. Also try and get population count of where you live and estimate what per centage of people have computers. so if you have 10 friends and of those 10, 6 have computers you can pretty much believe that 60% of the population of where you live have computers. Plus also mention that the manufacturer gives them the face value of the coupon and an additional 8 cents for processing fee. So in all reality they are NOT loosing the the money on the coupon but on the SALE. Just some suggestions! Mary |
