OK, so i was so nervous to ask the store manager, but today decided that I would give it a shot. I saw somewhere that said that Sleepy uses some of hers there. So, Before doing any of my shopping, I approached my local Safeway Store Manager and showed her my WAGS RR and asked if I could use them there at Safeway...she said, are they Manuf. Coupons? I said well that is what they say on the Coupon...so she scanned one of them and it went through and she promptly said yes you can use them all here!! Oh my gosh!!!! Whooohoooo!

I do have to say that the Ast. Store Manager is who checked me out and he immediately said you can't use these here!! So I said, I just spoke to your store manager and she said yes! He went to her and she told him, "They are Manufacture Coupons, of course we take them!"

Yay!!!! Took $35 off my groceries!! I saved some of my RR to roll some more Theraflu & Almay this week at WAGS, only on the MM'ers. But that was a great use of my RR!! I still need to earn/save some for Black Friday, though!

I am so excited. Has anyone else been successful at this? Is there anything in writing from Safeway that says we can use them there?

I use them at Cub Foods in MN all the time. Mgr checked me out on Saturday A.M. and by the time I was done with q's and RR's my oop as .54for a cart full. Mgr.asked if I'd show him how do that. Told him about AFC, Needless to say he was really glad.

That is great news! I tried to use one at Albertsons (TX) and they refused it but I have a Tom Thumb (Safeway) and I'll ask them next time I go in. (It's a great store. When I am not happy with any fresh fruit, I can take it back, get a refund or replacement.)

can I ask you where do you live? I'm in Sacramento and would like to know which store would take them since I have never been lucky so far.

Tom Thumb in Dallas lets me use them, so I imagine yours will too!
