double dip deal at Rite Aid??

this deal starts tomorrow at Rite Aid:

Oral-B Cross Action or Cross Action Vitalizer $2.99
-$2.99 Single Check Rebate (must be purchased 1/21 - 1/27)
-$1 c/o P&G 1/21
Final price $1 PROFIT

My question is.. can you do BOTH??
Because it is from the P&G inserts, and thereby qualifies towards your Rite Aid Gas Card... can you also get the rebate too?

Purchasing an item with an individual rebate that's also a participating product on another rebate #: you should receive credit towards both offers.

I there a 2nd rebate or do you just mean can you use your coupon and still get the SCR from Riteaid?

You can most definately use the coupon to make your OOP $1.99 and they will send you the $2.99 once youve complete the riteaid rebate.

I read the question as whether 1 item purchase can count towards more than 1 rebate offer # (which yes it can).

As to the coupon, RA & most rebates don't deduct coupons. Occasional Mfr directs do make deductions. RA though has added language over the past year re deducting coupons on some rebates. They haven't enforced it, or their IT is still far behind their Marketing Promotions. It 'could' bite in the future.

If you purchase more than just the rebate item can they be sure what item your coupon was actually for? It's not like it states so on the CRT

my question was mainly about the product itself actually...

P&G products *hence the listing of the P&G coupon* are on a "Rite Aid Gas Cash" deal until 1/27... you have till then to tally the $$ of products before coupons to earn gas cash.

But since it was on it's own rebate--a tmf if you will--I wondered if it would count for both on their SCR.

the rebate plus the gas cash.

(the short deal of the gas cash is: spend $100 get a $35 gas reward... I have $85 banked already thanks to the Herbal Essence Shampoos and conditioners, but only qualify for $15 right now...I need that additional boost to make my $35)

Glad you pointed that out I am just shy of my $5 gas card so I will try this and see if it qualifies for both..Im guessing yes.

All of my rebates have always been the retail sale price... not with my coupons deducted because as mentioned they have no way to know what you used a coupon for. I realize it does say its after deductions but Ive never seen it actually enforced.
