What stores do you shop? Do you have any that price match? Some stores have where you spend so much, you get a free turkey. Last year, my friend price matched Kroger .29¢ a pound (Butterball or Honeysuckle) at Giant Eagle. GE's price that week was .99¢ per pound. Do you have any store credit at a place you would get a turkey? Last year, I had a gift card that I put toward the turkey. .29¢ might be the lowest price you might find. .30¢ - .79¢ is still pretty good. .80¢ to .99¢ is the most I would consider paying. I think it will depend on the stores you have in your area. You might also find a winetag ( might even be a no alcohol purchase required type) or rebate that will help with the cost. Hope that helps

i do thanksgiving every year and i think i have yet to actually pay for the turkey. i am a little cloudy on last years details, but i believe the deal was, meijer had a coupon where you get like $10 off a 25 lb turkey (but they were like$1.29 a lb.) where walmart had turkey for like 30 cents /lb, so i would get a turkey @ walmart and they were matching the meijer $ of q so a 25 lb turkey ended up being being like a $2.50 money maker. everyone in my family got a turkey from me for their freezer, and i still have one in my deep freeze i hope is still good b/c i am planning on using it this month.
