I have a question about Walgreens

When you pay for your items do you have to use your register rewards before your manufacturer's coupons? I tried to pay for some stuff today and used my manufacturer's coupons first and it wouldn't take my register rewards even though my total was still $5.

Depending on what you bought you may have tried to use too many coupons. A rr counts as a coupon and you can not use more coupons then number of items you are buying.

did you check how much your tax is? if part of your RR pays for the tax, register will likely reject it.

I usually give RRs first, MQs and WAGcs last. But sometimes, the MQs and RRs can be interchanged but I make sure the WAGcs are always last.

No, you don't have to use your RR before manu. Qs. Maybe your total before tax was less than your RR?

My total was 5.91 and then I used a manufacturer coupon for $1 off, then I tried to use a register reward for $1 and it wouldn't let me. The lady at the register told me I needed to use the register reward first, then the maufacturer coupon. I had 2 items and 1 manufacturer coupon, 1 RR.

without knowing specifics, like what items you bought, it is hard to trace the problem.

you said you bought 2 items, 2 coupons (1MQ, 1RR) so there's no problem with coupon/item tally. it must be that you used a high value RR together with the MQ that made the total exceed the amount of both items.

Example: Dentek @ 2 and Vaseline @ 6.99. if one uses $1.50 MQ and $8 RR, that will be 9.50 total coupon value while the subtotal amount before tax is only 8.99. If 1.50 MQ is given first, it be taken by register BUT the $8 will now beep because it exceeds total amount. If you give RR first, it will be taken and the 1.50 vaseline MQ will now be rejected giving the same message. I hope that makes sense.
