I do. Sorta. I don't "buy" coupons but I pay for the time for someone else to clip, sort and mail them to me. I buy inserts. Doing so is still wayyy cheaper than buying 15 newspapers. It works for me

We buy a few coupons and I will "pay" someone to cut out the few that I need via eBay. It works great for me.

Also, different areas will get different coupons or the same ones with a higher value. I don't regularly buy coupons, but I have in the past when there have been some really hot ones.

I would first take into consideration HOW and WHEN I’m going to use these MQ’s and make sure they are WORTH it, I never buy just random MQ’s. I always look at the upcoming ad's to see what MQ’s I'm going to need for upcoming deals. For example……….. back in the Spring Target had a $1.00/1 Johnsons & Johnsons IP on their website and I bought 20 $1.00/1 Johnsons & Johnsons MQ’s off eBay for $3.00 to stack with them. My Target stores had the 20 FL OZ bottles on clearance from $3.29 to $2.54. I bought 20 at the $2.54 price “stacking” my IP/MQ and my total was about $10.00 OOP for 20 bottles of Johnsons & Johnson Moisture care baby wash {I have 2 boys and this is the only stuff I use on them}. So in the end I spent $3.00 on eBay and $10.00 OOP for 20 bottles that would have originally cost me about $65.00. Totally worth it for me.

I factor it into the savings I will be getting with the coupon, and if it's worth it then I do buy from ebay, coupon clippers and coupons by dede. Also trade and buy here on AFC. Lately, I haven't had to buy much with the trains I am on and my mom is getting oodles of inserts from work YAY!

I didn't want to, but quickly realized I needed to. For me, it's because I live in a small area and our newspaper is junk and only gives one crummy SS insert each week with like 3 coupons in it...so for me, buying inserts has proved to be a GREAT investment! If you consider, this week alone I have saved $197 by using coupons smartly, the $15 I spent on inserts was minimal. HTH!

My DH loves the Premium Bird's Eye Steamers. I buy those coupons (especially ones that will double and triple) and they pay for themselves threefold! It is something I cannot get for free. They limit how many coupons you can buy! Those are the ones I buy and then I have to buy other "fillers" to get to a minimum order. I try to look at future ads to see deals I might want to do more than once and buy those to round out my order. They take about 3 days to get in the mail. I use Coupon Clippers.

Yes, mostly buy them from eBay. I also buy the Sunday paper on Saturday for $1. If you've got multiples of a good coupon, for example, the $3 Snuggle fabric softener, it more than pays for itself. There's no place for me to dumpster dive (ummm recycle), can't ask co-workers because they use their coupons themselves, and no family nearby.

It really depends on the item. If it's a "hot item" and the value of the coupon doesn't exceed what I would've paid, then I do. You do have to be careful buying coupons on Ebay though. I've seen auctions on some of those coupons that far exceed what the value of the coupon would actually save you.

I buy a lot of coupons but not from E-Bay. You really don't have any control over what you get in the 'grab bags'. If you buy what you are looking for on E-Bay I find I would pay more there than 'the coupon clipper or coupons and things by dede'. For the person who doesn't really think it is worth buying I got 20 $3.00 coupons, 10 from each site, plus other coupons for $5.25 at each site. When I checked e-bay the $3.00 snuggle coupons were going for $6.00 or so and 15 were going for $9.00 or so. My total savings from the clipped sites were close to $70.00 AFTER deducting the costs. Well worth it too me.

At first I thought "buying" q's was laughable, but now I see trading and buying will save you more $$!

Definitely, Absolutely! First off, my region stinks. Second, I like being able to custom order exactly what I want. I order full uncut inserts each week from clipperkc. I pay .25 per insert plus shipping. I got five of my coupon friends to go in with me to split shipping, too. I'd have to pay 99 cents for a paper whether it had 1 or 5 inserts, and another 99 cents for every set even if I just wanted more of the Smartsource insert. I also order individual q's as needed from various sources. For example: This week, I ordered 75 Bumblebee Tuna coupons. They cost me .05 each (plus shipping). I will make .50 profit from each coupon with this week's sale. Paid $3.75 Will make $37.50 - $3.75 = $33.75 Profit Does that sound worth it? ![]() It's all strategic. That's part of the "game".

i just received my first order of purchased q's today, and i will 100% buy more in the future. i think it will be especially beneficial in developing a nice stockpile quickly and for the least OOP. Also, it allows you to take advantage of different regions coupons.

Yes - I do, but I look at the future ads to see what will be on sale. For ex. i bought 15 snuggle coupons (3.00/1) off of Ebay for 8.00 including shipping. This week, at my local Fry's (Kroger I guess to some), they have a deal that when you buy 10 of a designated "group of items from their ad" they are a certain price. Snuggle was one- buy any combo of 10, and they are 2.99 ea. So....I got 15 bottles of Snuggle, and 5 other things I had coupons for (Welch's Juice). All in all, I paid 1.50 for each 64 oz Welch's juice (I had IP for those), and ZERO for snuggle. Totally worth it!
