| So many coupons
I have been looking for a coupon train In central Ohio. I have posted to a couple of posts about coupon trains in Ohio but there has been no final result. My problem is I have two large folders full of coupons I cant use. These folders have made it through the family so I have run out of people to give them too. I get losts more each week. So, if anyone here could use them, please let me know. I can't tell you exactly what I have because there are too many to list. I don't want them to expire. I have heard that there is program for sending them over seas to military families. I guess they can use them for up to 6 months after they expire. I will be doing that soon. Again, please let me know if you can use them. Have a great day. P.S. If you have unused coupons that have recently expired please read this couponing.about.com/cs/aboutcouponing/a/militaryexpcoup.htm]Expired Coupons Help Military Families[/url] |

Its cool that military families can use expired coupons. I just wish they would give the rest of us the same leeway. I can't tell you how many times I wish I had just one extra week or maybe a month to use a coupon. Right now, I'm going to Walmart to use up all my coupons that are going to expire soon. I might have to start sending the ones that I don't need to military families - its a shame to throw them out (or in my case recycle them) when they expire. I noticed alot of those addresses are overseas. Are there any coupon distribution centers located here in the US that can give them to the families who have to be stationed overseas? Also, I don't understand those addresses - they're way different from the US addresses or even my Japanese friend's address. They don't look normal - I wanted to make sure they were correct before trying to send them and wasting the postage. For those that send them overseas, which distribution center do you send them to and do they accept all types of coupons (reg. & printable)? Side note: I'm not really super new at couponing but I'm still learning. Sometimes though you happen to get coupons that you don't need and nobody you know can use - its a shame to waste them. That's why I'm looking into giving them to military families who might be able to use them. Last edited by frogprincess; 10-24-2009 at 10:28 AM. |

You should hop on any train.. the thing that I've noticed with inserts is this.. I live in CA, I get all the low value coupons that I can hardly use.. Other people mostly on the east side or so, get the high value coupons that even they can't use.. why because my stores don't double.. their stores do!! So we trade! That's why I perfer to trade with someone across the country rather than in my backyard.. make sense?

I notice the same thing. I am in New England and I know people in Florida get different coupons. That is why trades are good cause sometime in other regions they have coupons you dont get. That is why not only do I belong to a couple coupon trains but I look at the ISO lists to see who is looking for something I have. So you dont just have to look at trains. HTH too...
