OMG! Thought I was going to have a heart attack today! Went out and did most of my shopping before my husband got off work. He decided to meet me at Wal-Mart since it was my last stop.. got everything just fine. Went to check out and as I was getting my wallet out to pay I handed him my coupon folder and said "Will you put this down into one of the bags please?" He took it from me, I paid and we left..

I get home and we are unloading the groceries and putting them up and I say "What bag did you put my q binder in?" After no response I look over at him and his face is pale and just blank... he goes "ummm.. you didn't get it?" I said OMG NO! I told you to put it in a bag.. did you not? He was like "ummm no I didn't. It was sitting in the seat where you put kids at.. (obviously you can tell by his description we don't have kids LOL)...

HE LEFT IT IN THE CART IN THE PARKING LOT AT WALMART OF ALL PLACES!! He goes running out the door and said "I'll go get it!"

All I can think is there is NO WAY it is going to be there when he gets back! All of my q's and Walgreens RRs are in there.. and my CVS card... EVERYTHING!

He comes home and says "you owe me"... I was like "HUH? Owe you what?? Your life LOL cause I was gonna hurt you!

I can't believe it was still there! Good thing I noticed as soon as I got home and that Walmart is only like 5 mins away!

I left my binder at Walmart once. I called- no nothing, I called the next day, no nothing. Finally I went over and the CS was like "oh, this, yeah, it is right here"
I couldn't believe they hadn't even looked when I called about it. But, honestly, I was just so happy to have it back, and in tact, that I didn't even bother to say anything about it!!!

same thing happened to me at winn dixie it took 3 days alot of phone calls, my hubbbie said he has never seen a person cry over coupons.....................

Glad it was still there when he went back to get it. My DH is not allowed to touch my Binder (aka Benny)!! Benny goes in the car first before the groceries go in and it's the only thing I grab when we get to the house besides my pocketbook... DH says I treat him like royalty.... HE iS...

normally my DH isnt allowed near it either but i was paying and i thought for sure if i handed it to him right there he would put it in the bag like i asked.. i dont think he will ever touch it again! LOL

I don't have a binder, but have three expandable file folders. I don't take them in the store with me unless I put them in a reusable shopping tote. If I find something I need, I take out the file I need remove the Q and put it right back. I'm sure binders would fit in those. Maybe those of you with binders need to make sure you put it in a shopping bag when you are finished -- just in case you get distracted when unloading -- you know you won't forget to remove a shopping tote from your cart.

I'm so glad it was there.My friend had hers stolen out of her cart while unloading her cart.At Publix no less.They just walked up and took it while her back was turned.

I am starting a bider this weekend! I'm new to couponing but I feel like I'm unorganized already and that is a bad sign. (I am one of those types who HATES being unorganized--throws me right off)

Those reusable bags are great for carrying the coupon binder/box/wallets in!

I usually have a plan when I go in and all my q's separated out for each store. My mom bought me this adorable coupon organizer that looks like a purse for that. (she got it for free with her max perks...she is learning )

But I do keep the bag in my car with all my coupons in it for those unplanned trips

For Krystle...binder didnt work well for me. I found it took way too long to fold and stuff the q's in the little pockets. I ended up asking a friend who has a baby for a couple baby wipe containers and using index cards cut down a bit as dividers. I paperclip all like coupons and file them by categories. Every sunday, I pull out expired coupons, and file the new ones. I made it pretty by wrapping it in vinyl...got bored watching tv one night and I'm a signmaker, so i always have scraps of vinyl lying around.

I also keep one other small ziplock sandwich container for what I deem as drug store mainly coupons. I dont even bother filing or paper clipping them. Drug store shopping always requires a good plan...and if I do run across an unadvertised one, I can always finish up and run out to my car and make another trip in.

I can almost see your DH's face when he realized the error of his ways! There should be some chocolate, or flowers or at least a foot rub in your future! Owe him my *ss!!!!

I have a petsmart reusable shopping bag (cute!) that I keep my ziplocs of my current coupons (one for each store each week labeled on the front) and my binder with all the other Q's)...when I get into the store I take my keys/phone/miniwallet that are on a clip ring (don't know what you call it but it snaps on like mountain climbers use) and clip it through one of the handles and onto the cart!

That way no one takes off with my stuff and I cannot forget it because I can't get into my car without unclipping everything. The only time I had a problem was when the cashier used another cart to load my groceries and I got ready to leave the area and didn't have my keys, or my bag! So now if they switch carts it is the FIRST Thing I switch too!
