Ok, here is my order from Krogers yesterday:

2 boxes of candy canes
1 bag of kernal-less popcorn
1 bottle of Coffeemate French Vanilla Creamer
2 cans of Kroger Mushrooms stems & pieces
2 Giant Hershey Bars
3 packs of Basic Cigarettes



I got catalinas which read (in order from initial spit out to the end):

$3.00 off 3 packs of Basic Cigarettes
$5.00 off a carton of Basic Cigarettes
$1.00 off 2 jars of Pennsylvania Dutch Mushrooms

and

2 catalinas for a FREE Stayfree product, up to $4.19


While I know why and what triggered the first 3 catalinas...what the hell triggered the last 2 catalinas??

Maybe the Pennsylvania Mushrooms are trying to get your business, so they have it set up that if you buy ANY mushrooms, it'll advertise their product.
On the Stayfree, have you bought any of their products lately? Maybe in the last two months at that store? Some of the catalina's go by what you have purchased in the past, and was captured to your card. If not, then it must be because a lot of women crave chocolate when it's "that time" !!! (This is purely a joke, guys!)

It may be that your card triggered the Stayfree. As in, they are offering that promo to every 5th card. Why 2? Maybe one was from a previous order? As in the person before you didn't take theirs?
