Yesteday went to Clemens to get Kraft HandiSnack puddings on sale 10\$10. I had some expired (11/30/05) coupons for $1\1 ANY HandiSnack. Borught 20 packs of pudding up, and before we even started the process I asked the cashier to check to make sure the coupon would work, because I wasn't sure... he scanned the item and the coupon and it worked. So off we went to scan in the other 19 puddings...
Handed him my 19 other coupons and off he went with the coupons... after a total of 4 coupons, it would just beep and not take any more coupons. At this point the cashier started readin the coupon and noticed they were expired and said that is why they stopped working. I told him that couldn't be the case otherwise it wouldn't have taken the first 4 coupons.
But at this point couldn't really push the issue to get the rest of them to work seeing as he now noticed they were expired...
So I just returned the other 16 puddings (it was an agnozing minute or two determining which 4 flavors to keep... the final choice was between Butterscoth and Low Fat Chocolote. I finally decided the low-fat chocolate had to go back...)
On my way out I asked the CS rep if they had a limit to the number of a similar coupon could be used at any one order and she said no (and I have used 10+ similar coupons at a time there before...).
Anyone have any idea why they would have stopped working?

I don't,but today at kroger I used (3).50 off keebler coupons and after the first one it beeped.I've used several of them before and they didn't beep.
I've just always wrote it off as a pos glitch in the system.It could have anything to do with what items I bought all the way to

First, I never knew you could use expired coupons.

I didn't see the coupon in the database. Did the coupon say limit one per customer? Do you have the coupon code?

Perhaps because it read as free, they are applying a limit?
