We don't have any near us but Sam is a bit obsessed with the Coinstar/gift card concept. Everytime we go to a new store the first thing he checks out is the Coinstar machine!!!

Most of ours have the Amazon GCs......they alsohave things like the cash card (fee) and prepaid wireless. I wish ours had other chocies for the GCs but I love getting the amazon with change.

Sadly, the closest ones to me are in Delaware, just not worth the drive from Virginia!

Do the amazon ones cost a fee? or is it you put $10 in coins and get a $10 GC? Thanks!

They print out the code on a receipt like thing. Then you put the code in the gift certificate box when you go to check out.

I BELIEVE the deal is if you get an Amazon one you don't get a fee ~ but the others you still get a fee just like if you get paper money for your coin money.

I was wondering if anyone has redeemed their coins for the amazon.com e-certificate? Do you have to redeem a certain amount? Also does it have to be exact like say $20.00 or if you redeem $21.83 will it apply the whole amount to a card? or does it put the $20 on it and give you a voucher for the rest?

I did this for the e cert and it gave me a code for 19.45 It worked on the site no problems
