| Question about Doubling...
I had a $.40 blinkie coupon off Stagg Chili. It said on it Not Subject to Doubling. However the code started with a 5 (I've seen mention of that on the forum here - don't know how valid that statement is...). One store Clemens - when I used the coupon it didn't double (This is the store where I got the blinkie) Another store when I used the coupon, it did double (This store did not have the blinkie available in the aisles) How can I tell if a coupon is definitely gonna double or not? Thanks, ~Paul |

this is a YMMV thing clemens NEVER will double if coupon states DND they r sticklers about this and will hit a key to make coupn not double

Our Dillons(Kroger) will always double even if it says DND

OK... so it is a more likely about the practice of the store - not something coded into the coupon itself? I guess I'll have to give a test run at a couple stores and track my results. |

I think sometimes the blinkies don't work the same as 'regular' coupons - my kroger's usually doubles them (automatic on the 'puter), but every once in a while, I've picked up a blinkie that won't double even though it starts with a 5 & none of them will double on multiple trips, so I know it has something to do with the coupon because other blinkies will double. Maybe they say 5 but are UPC'd 9? Hope that makes sense...
