id just like to say thanks to all you ladies for giving a heads-up on whos giving out coupons. most of this stuff i use all the time but cant otherwise find coupons anywhere. i wrote to ten companies tonight. thanks again!!!

I called Schick since DH has a Tracer FX Razor which I bought a whole bunch of refill blades on clearance @ Walgreens about a year or two ago. They were on clearance for around $3 a pack when normal price is around $8 I can't remember now how many I bought but DH ran outta them & I haven't been able to find them then I did some searches online found out they were discontinued Schick Tracer FX Razor so now I'm thinking that's why they had them on clearance but even more Walgreens had a bunch more just like the clearanced ones marked full price & a different UPC Code! So I thought the packaging was just changing!

Walgreens still has a few left but for the $8 price I found them locked in those cases where all the other razors/blades are.

Anyway I called Schick 1.800.SHAVERS (1.800.742.8377)
& they told me yes it is discontinued but they will send me a Free Product Coupon to try any other razor of there's up to $10.99
The coupon says on any Schick Quattro Men's Disposable, Razor or Refill Expires September 30, 2008 www.shaving.com

He also told me that Nationwidecampus.com - Over 100,000 products available still sells the discontinued blades if I wanted to buy them.

I too started doing this. I wrote about 35 letters a week and a half ago. So far I have received:
3 1.00/1 Ians products
2 Free Odawalla coupons
2 .75/1 Murrays French Toast Sticks
2 1/1 Sea Pack

Also, I called Kellogg's to comment on the new Frosted Flakes energy cereal. (Can't remember the name of it) Anyway, we almost broke our teeth trying to chew the stuff and thought I'd let them know that they are hard to eat. So, they are sending a free product coupon so we can get something else I rarely complain to companies, but these were not our cup of tea!

I emailed Edge shaving gel awhile back to compliment them and they sent me a FREE product coupon and 5 $1.00 off coupons I had also complained to Huggies for something and got a FREE jumbo pack and a few other $1 and $3 coupons It pays to be nice!

I have been doing the same and I will say I do get a better response when I call vs. when I email from the website. Kashi and Rice A Roni have been the best. Both of the ladies I spoke with from those companies were so positive and excited. Way more than I ever expected!!!
