I recently e-mailed Birds Eye about how I enjoy their Voila meals. They sent me five $1/1 Q's! I did the same with Duncan Hines and they sent me a 35-cent Q! Also, I found a 1/2" stem in a box of Sunmaid raisins (first time ever). I am not usually a complainer, but thought I would e-mail Sunmaid with a picture of the stem. They responded back with a very apologetic e-mail and sent me a Q worth up to $5 for any Sunmaid product. I prefer to compliment, but sometimes it pays to notify a company when you find something unsatisfactory. They don't want to lose you as a future customer. With forums like AFC, news travels fast about good products and not-so-good products.

I think it is nice to compliment them from time to time too.

I have heard of people emailing different companies complimenting them and them receiving coupons in the mail.

I need to email Coke, their new 20 oz bottle lids slice my finger when i try to open them. It's happened about 4 times already, like a really bad paper cut. and it's just their bottles. Just happened to me the other day and thought i should at least inform them in case other people were having the same problem. So its not so much a complaint as an informing i guess.
