So, this happened a frew months ago and I can't remember if I posted about it or not.

We get a can of Safeway brand sliced potatos. We open them and nicely "sewn" into one of the potatos is a black curley hair.. GROSS!!

So I e-mail Safeway and tell them of my findings.

The next day I get a PHONE CALL regarding what happened and asked me to explain it. So I did. They said they'd send an envelope with a return envelope insde for me to mail my findings.

I got the envelope and also included was 5 $1 coupons in the mail for safeway products. I was estatic!!!

THEN I get an envlope a few weeks later from Allen's Canning Company (or something similar) with a $5 bill inside apologizing for the inconvenience. I WAS STOKED!!!

A week later I get a HUGE BOX from Allen's.. inside was about 20 cans of different foods some included were yams (the one's where you make sweet potatos), veg-all, Allen's green beans, string potatos, and lots others.

I couldn't believe it!!! It was one of the best responses that I'd ever gotten from any company regarding a complaint (next to foster farms because I can't complain about a $25 check!).

Wow!!! That was a sweet deal! Obviously someone was laying the SMACK down on all parties!!! LOL

ewwww i would have died had i seen that....

but what a great response! I sent Dole (juice) a compliment the other day, and they responded w/ a one liner "glad you like our juice."

I was like "um, ok, well I do but do i get coupons now?!" ha ha, we'll see. You are LUCKY!

I know. My boyfriend noticed it. I blamed it on him (since he has short curley hair) and he's like no look at it! So I looked harder at the potato and it was literally through the slice of potato.. I was like ew.. throw it out!
