I email SC Johnson because I was disappointed in the lack of scent from the Cotton scented candle from the Fragrance Collection. They emailed me back within 24 hours saying that they were going to mail me a coupon so I could try one of their other scents. Just about 4 days later in my mail was a coupon for up to $9 off 10oz multi-wick candle or reed diffuser from the Fragrance Collection plus a coupon book for over $19 worth of various SC Johnson products. All in all, I'm very impressed with SC Johnson customer service!

wow! Yes I got the cotton ones as they were the only ones left, and they are not as smelly as the others...barely any smell. I was just gonna give them to family, I didnt realize that maybe I should contact them and say 'hey, it's not as strong..."

Sounds good...I don't think their 2 oz soy candles smell much at all especially the cotton one....it took hours and hours of burning (at least they last) to smell the red and green one, but I never smelled the cotton one, but I know what it's supposed to smell like because I got a reed diffuser in the same scent, and that smells good fast =)

It's funny that I found this thread. I wrote them yesterday about the same thing. I love how the cotton smells while it's in the packaging, but it doesn't smell while it's burning. I was expecting to smell the fresh cotton smell and totally forgot that it was lit.

I, on the other hand, am happy to hear that they don't smell too strong. Only because my daughter is getting married this weekend, and I got 50 of the white ones to put on the tables at the reception, and I have been worried that with all of them burning at once, that it would be too stong. Thanks for letting us know. Now thats one less thing to worry about. But I do agree with you, that I would want them to smell strong if it was in my house.

SC Johnson really does have great customer service. They're excellent with compliments as well.

Am I right..you plan on using 50 of the scented candles? I hope it works out for you, BUT could be a chance where if you have so many in a warm plce(cuz all the ppl) it could get strong. Just my opinion I dont want anyone with an over load of scent..even if it is so good.

i got the acai currant (red candle) and i can barely smell it especially when its lit tysm i never thought of writing to them about it i was kind of upset when i bought cuz i hate it when i spend $$ and it doesnt work right in this case smell

I did light all 50 of the candles at my daughters wedding reception. We still couldn't smell them.

I wrote to them to tell them I liked the Apple smell, and they also sent me a book of SC Johnson Qs and a FREE big candle. Awesome!

I don't think any of them have much scent at all but I just thought it was because I was burning them in a large room! I also had trouble with the 3-wick candle not burning correctly. The melted soy, wax or whatever, drowned out the flames! Sure glad I didn't pay full price!
