So I've been fighting to get 4 RRs worth $10 each from Huggies Deal in March. The Catalina machine was not operable two of the days and I had to mail a form in to try to get them, 12 weeks later no RR received, so I started making phone calls. The store manager said I only get $10 b/c limit one per customer, per week. According to multiple people here on AFC Wags Corporate says that means per transaction or visit. Well today I get a letter in the mail from Catalina Marketing, along with just one of the RRs I am owed. ... Dear Walgreens Customer, On behalf of Catalina Marketing we would like to extend a sincere apoogy for the fact that you did not receive your coupon while visiting your local Walgreens store. Walgreens' customers are our customers as well, and our number one objective is to ensure that you are satisfied. Enclosed, please find the coupon that you should have received at the store. There is a limit of one register reward coupon per offer as stated in the Walgreens circular. Again, please accept our sincere apology. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused you. If we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to call us at 1-888-8COUPON. ... So, beware, if the Catalina Machine is not printing, get your credit owed fixed/taken care of then (or return the items), be very, very leary of doing the mail in forms to Catalina Marketing. You may or may not get it, and you certainly won't get multiple RRs from the same deal, even though they were done in seperate transactions/receipts, because per Catalina its limit one per customer, period. |

i always make them fix it right then or i will walk out without the product..i have told them before, why would i spend .42 to mail in for my RR owed, not happening.

Now, see, this has been a point of contention for me and a matter of great discussion between myself, store managers and corporate. The most interesting conversation I had was a debate over what "per offer" means. My contention was that it means this: If the offer is: Buy two widgets and get a $5 RR, then each time I buy two widgets (in unique transactions) I have accepted the offer and should get the $5 RR each time. The corporate rep I spoke with agreed, but she probably doesn't have any rank. Some managers say that "per offer" means if you buy two widgets, you can only get one RR. I think it's silly of them to interpret the wording in such a way that upsets their customers and decreases their sales. |

Wow that is crazy. I think someone read it wrong or something cause I have never heard of that. PLUS on another board a women was owed I think 1 10 RR and 1 6RR she was told wait 6 weeks, no rr in the mail called back and they said wait another 2, she says ok, then a few days later she gets 2 envies one has 1 10 RR and 1 6 RR. The other envie has 8 10RR and 2 6RR for a total of 114.00 in RR. all for buy 8 dove get 1 10 RR and buy 2 listerine get 1 6 RR. So someone somewhere is not following the real rules. BTW She called the catalina company and tried to explain what happen so she could make it right and was told that if that's what she got it was what she was supposed to get. Go figure. Another inconsistency with the system. On Thursday of last week I received in the mail 3 $1 RR all from the same deal, the same day. It was from about March with the Right gaurd deo's buy one and get $1 RR. I went very early that morning and went to 3 different stores and got 3 Deos. None printed. They fixed it later on in the week but I called catalina and they verified it was the correct item and promised to send me 3 $1 RR which I just rcvd on Thursday. So it's not always the case. Also I never use those mail in form, call catalina and request them, no postage then. |
