| Arkansas Members.....Tornadoes on the ground!
If you are not watching the news, the predicted severe weather is here. There a 3 confirmed tornadoes across the state...one is about to hit Deer, AR any sec...I sure hope DeerDonna is in a shelter. We missed the first storm, it went about 8 miles north of us, but the next is almost here. Time to turn off the comp

Now everyone stay calm.  Make a plan.  Get your supplies ready for 'just in case'. And once you have put all your coupons in a safe place,  see if there is any room for flash light, water, can food, can opener and don't forget some pet food.  Seriously guys be safe. |

It was bad, very bad....the worst hit 9 miles south of me in Atkins, our little town where my kids live. Three confirmed deaths so far, I know that my DIL and SIL parent's house survived, but their new Dodge Charger is gone, every other house on their street is down. We cannot get into town to check our kids' houses, they have the highways blocked and the Army Reserve is already there. I cannot believe we have our power back already.

My kids are all accounted for...3 were here and the other was on the way here when it iht.

Kelly forgot to mention that there was ONE INJURY here on the farm.......  I was trying to get out of the house and to our safe place, I had Ashton in my arms, But Dummy Me had to stop and put on my FLIP FLOPS (BIG NONO ON WET STEPS) my foot slipped out from under me on the top step and I slid (My Backside hitting every step on the way down) I was able to turn just enough to keep Ashton from being hurt (THANK GOD) But I know that I'll be one stiff girl tomorrow....... There is BRUISING the size of a BaseBall on my Backside, and I do have some bruising on my elbow's, I think I hit my shoulder (Not real sure but it is a little stiff) Other than that everybody here is ok and doing fine..........

3 of my son's friends had left here to get home, they were in 2 cars...as they got to Atkins, the fornt car was lifted and thrown into a house...this boy had jst left my house! One has a borken collarbone, the other has 2 broken legs..they were lucky (Adnil..it was Tim and Mike)

OMG ya'll, the news is just getting worse and worse. We just got our pwer back and I cannot believe the news reports, this is so awful. Kudos to our emergency response teams, Army reserve is already in place.

they were worried about their moms..my Jerry tied to leave and we had to make him stay, his wife was at work in Atkins. and he was worried sick, we have no cell phone reception here and the phones were dead.
