no karen, these are from news websites..all I saw was a lot of wind, hail and rain, we do not have a storm shelter, we had an undergound house for years and did not need one, now that the old house is gone and we live in a manufactured home, it's so scarey! the storms never scared me like this before...we were all huddled in the jeeps in the foundation of the old undeground house!

Sounds like you need to get someone with a bobcat and dig a shelter or use the foundation of your old house for one. Please?

OMG ~ prayers to all! Those boys were worried about their moms, but now their moms have to take care of them! Very stupid!!! They weren't going to outrun it or beat it to them! Silly, silly! I need to go check how TN is making out ~ my sister e-mailed that they were in for it! Tornadoes kinda make hurricanes look good ~ at least we have a few days warning!

I'm glad you're all ok (except of course for Adnil's butt). We had terrible storms here too in KY. There are reports of 3 deaths from a tornado one county over from us. And we're still under a tornado watch until at least midnite. You've all been in my prayers tonight. Stay safe.......

yes karen, this is the second round already this year and they usually do not come til March. Listen to this...my DIL lacie has a cousin that lived south of I-40 just outside of Atkins....his house was blown across I-40. There is a lake south of town called Lake Atkins, my DIL and SIL's parents live there, not one house is standing on their road except their's. They had severe damage in the yard, and the new car is gone, but their home is standing, the only one on that road. The Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church is gone, had this been a Wednesday night that church would have had over 100 people in it. There was a lot of people out and about because of the time of day and the election. Thank God our weather people have such advanced technology now, we had over 30 minutes warning for this tornado! I can remember back in the '80s when you didn't have a clue what was going to happen. Now the weather people can tell us so much more and help us find shelter. This could have been so much worse, as far as I know there were 4 deaths, there is no telling how many we could have had if people had not been warned.

My son just got home from Atkins and he said he has never seen so much destruction in just one small town. He said that he and his wife wered driving down the highway and say things like "Wasn't there a house there?" It's that bad.

Still praying that all our friends in AR, KY and TN are fine. Other then the wreath blowing off my door and some big tree limbs down, everything looks alright here. But there was major damage and unfortunately, 3 people killed not too far from me.

I am so sorry you all have had to deal with this! I truly have tears in my eyes. We had a tornado hit our home 2 1/2 years ago. We only had $16,000 dollars worth of damage to our home. We never heard a train. When we felt the house shaking I grabbed my daughter my DH grabbed my son and we ran to the basement. Unfortunatley we lost my beloved pet in the tornado- I thank God that my family all were safe and survived the storm. I actually thought this morning that it looked like tornado weather when I walked outside this morning to take DS to school. Outside things were a funny color- this time kind of pink/orange. In the past when we have had tornado weather it was green outside.It was frightening. I know none of this compares to what you guys have seen in your towns. I know for a corner of Ga we are under a watch. I get fearful since we never knew last time about all 3 that hit (we just knew there was one that night). Even though the tornado watch is not for my county, I will be watching all day- my children will be in school- I could not imagine them not being with me at a time like that. My thoughts and prayers go out to each and everynone of you and I pray that you continue to be safe,as well as your loved ones! As far as the boys that were injured-SHAME ON THEM! Oooh- I bet their parents gave them a stern talking to- after all of the hugs and kisses- and "thank God you were ok" was said!

Central Arkansas missed these storms, but we spent an anxious evening glued to the tv. I am glad all is ok. Do we have any members around Clinton? KARK is showing Clinton pretty much wiped out.
